1996 Alaskan Extreme Skiing Champion, veteran of 8 World Extreme Skiing Championships and 16 Warren Miller Films. Chris Anthony is a Colorado native and long-time Vail resident. When not busy traveling the globe with the Warren Miller Team, Chris heads up specialized camps through “Chris Anthony Adventures” in Cordova Alaska, Italy, Silverton and Vail and serves as co-host at the “Camp of Superstars” in Portillo, Chile with Chris Davenport and “Davenport Sports”.

For the last 16 years Anthony has traveled as a member of the Warren Miller Film Team, freelanced for several publications and hosted and produced television programming.

The speed events were her specialty and she briefly experienced the thrill of being a “Crazy Canuck” while racing in a World Cup Downhill for the Canadian Ski Team in 1989. She went on to join the University of Vermont Ski Team, but a nasty skiing injury to her right ankle (which left her with 2 plates and 14 screws) officially ended her competitive racing career. To satisfy her “need for speed,” she now ventures out on Tuesday afternoons to race in Sugarbush’s Ski Bum League. She hopes to be running gates well into her 90s.
