graduated from Vermont’s Burke Mtn Ski Academy in 1988 and spent the following 3 years as a
post-graduate at the Green Mtn Valley School. The speed events were her specialty and she briefly
experienced the thrill of being a “Crazy Canuck” while racing in a World Cup Downhill for
the Canadian Ski Team in 1989. She went on to join the University of Vermont Ski Team, but a nasty skiing
injury to her right ankle (which left her with 2 plates and 14 screws) officially ended her competitive
racing career. To satisfy her “need for speed,” she now ventures out on Tuesday afternoons
to race in Sugarbush’s Ski Bum League. She hopes to be running gates well into her 90s.

co-founder of a new film company, Falling Forward Films, Max has been a part of both sides of the camera.
This experience has led to a better understanding of what it takes to create a good shot. Max’s favorite
